Miramaze and Melinda were discussing it and I chipped in that I lived near the route and this particular roundabout.

Oh thanks , Spice *mwaaah* that's lovely !
I would like to see that in real life AND do the Camino
I would probably cheat though or else take a year to do it
Paulo Coelho and Shirley MacLaine have both written a book about their Camino experience - there are probably more books out there - and two friends of mind walked the route in six weeks - not many blisters to speak of either !
XX thanks again xx-

You're welcome.
I think that taking a year to do it is about right

I remember those figures. I thought they were great and also what you told me about the pride that the French have about their roundabouts and how they decorate them. I think that the British roundabouts are all dedicted to the phenomenon of litter and stray car hubs.

Bonjour mon ami!

Melinda-solo
Excellent!
In Brussels, the shell symbol is set into the pavement. One of the guys I was with lives in San Sebastian, Northern Spain, and he explained what it was - though I'd already heard of it before then.
